Dear Sonya and Members, I am still finding the Celebration of the Holidays -Thanksgiving and Christmas hard to deal with even after almost 4 years after losing our Sons, Brian and Tim in the Auto Accident. I am missing them so much, as I prepare for the coming Holidays, and I guess that will be a Forever Thing for me. Do You Moms feel that way to?? Also I don't know if you have heard, Daryl Kathys Son has come out of the Coma, is out of the Hospital, walking with a Walker, able to take more solid food, and is in a Rehab Facility now. He is going to spend some time with his Family at Home. Only Time will tell How much young Daryl will improve, and please God it will be Alot. Many Prayers are still needed for Daryl, and Kathy is Grateful for All of Your Prayers. God Bless You All, and wishing You Sonya and All the Moms here a Blessed Thanksgiving Day, filled with Happy Memories of Your Angel Children. Hugs and Prayers to All, Pat, Mom of Brian and Tim in Heaven and Sean on Earth.

Dear Patricia,
Yes, I am still having a lot of trouble getting through holidays. I layed in bed last night thinking about when John was a baby and how he progressed through the years. I still miss him so much. I did speak with his best friend (who surprised us with a visit a couple of weeks ago). He has no one to spend the Christmas holidays with so I invited him to spend them with us. My son's best friend lost his father to cancer about three weeks ago and his stepmother doesn't get along with any of them. My heart really goes out to him. He lived with us for a while when my son was alive and began calling me "Mom" and still does. I pray your Thanksgiving Day will get better for you.
I'm glad our prayers are being answered and that Kathy's son is progressing.
Regards, Sonya

Dear Sonya, Thank you for your Kind Message. I guess we Moms will always be missing our Child or Children gone much too soon, and that is a Foerever Mom Thing. I am so happy that your Sons Friend is going to be with you at Thanksgiving. I thank God for Putting You and All the Moms of My Mom Is A Survivor into my Life, since I lost my two Sons, Brian and Tim. I probably will always get some down days, but I keep busy volunteering at the Nursing Homes, and cheering up the Residents, and I feel Brian and Tim are right there with me-Smile. Wishing You and Your Husband a very Blessed Thanksgiving filled with Wonderful Memories of Your Son John. I wish All the Moms here at My Mom Is a Survivor Chat Board the same. God Bless You Always, Pat, Mom of Brian and Tim in Heaven and Sean on Earth. Daryl Kathys Son was able to attend Temple Services and come Home for awhile -Miracles do Happen - I believe in Them-Smile.
